Strikes
Strikes, are useful in close range combat, and range from arm to hand techniques (open & closed). Striking techniques can be used as a distraction, and or a technique to deliver damage to your oponent.
The focus at this stage is learning how to execute each strike with the correct chamber, and striking surface.
While mastery of the techniques is not expected, knowledge of the exectution of each technique is.
Further there will be a focus on when and how to use each technique to be most effective.
Beginner Ranks
Intermediate-Advanced Ranks
The focus at this stage is to begin perfecting the techniques learned previously while learning a few new techniques.
We will expect a high degree of competency in prior strikes but more a working knowledge of how to perform the new material.
Advanced ranking students should be able to demonstrate these flawlessly and teach them to lower ranking students.
